The Costs and Fees Database displays the fines, costs, and fees that apply to Louisiana criminal and traffic laws in district, city, or parish courts. The database also displays all the costs and fees that a particular court is responsible for assessing. The database is searchable by statute/ordinance or by court.
The Louisiana Uniform Charge Code Project intends to provide a standard set of codes (aka SKU) associated to specific law and the offense for use by Louisiana criminal justice agencies. The Louisiana Revised statutes and the Code of Criminal procedure are associated with a charge code based upon the law and the NCIC offense code. This charge code remains the same as the law changes over time: enacted, amended, re-enacted as another RS citation, or repealed. This project allows the user to search by the offense and the offense date which will return the charge code and law in effect for that offense on the date of interest.
Please Note: This database contains information on all state criminal and traffic laws as well as local ordinances that have been submitted to the database by the courts. For up-to-date information on local ordinances, including costs and fees, contact the court clerk in the court of interest.
Tickets and fines cannot be paid through this site. If looking for payment information, please contact the court of interest.
